๐ฅ Download or adapt
Downloads open in Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Google Slides. Adapt in the builder saves a copy to your Saved resources, where you can edit it or ask for changes; it doesn't use your monthly allowance.
๐ Specification
Pointers only: check the exact content statements in your board's own specification. Lessonsmith never copies specification text.

3 Home learning
One piece of home learning a week: a task on the topic you're teaching that week and a "look back" task on a topic from earlier, each with a Lessonsmith activity pupils can do online. Dates follow typical school terms in England. Change anything, right here on the sheet, before you download it.
๐๏ธ Term dates (typical dates for England: change them to match your school)
You've changed the settings. (this replaces your edits to the table)
โ๏ธ Click any text on the sheet to change it. Use โ to remove a week (for an exam week or a trip) and ๏ผ to add one.
4 Whole-year curriculum plan
๐งญ Want to arrange it your way? Use the curriculum map builder: drag units into half-terms and add assessment points, mocks, careers links, trips and more.
A long-term plan for your GCSE or A-level course, from your exam board's specification. It places every topic half-term by half-term across both years, using typical term dates for England. It shows retrieval, assessment points and mocks, enrichment and resources, plus your curriculum intent, implementation and impact, and how the plan supports each area of Ofsted's school inspection framework. It's a starting point for your department to adapt.

Say what you'd like to change: what to take out, what to add, or which topics to move to another term. Or upload your own document (your school calendar, an existing plan or a topic list) and the plan will be fitted to it. You can undo any change.
5 Scheme of work Paid plans and school licences
A full scheme of work for a unit, in the style secondary departments use. It starts with why the unit matters, how it covers the National Curriculum, where and when to teach it, and how to make it stick (memory, retrieval and embedding practice). Then each lesson gets key words, a Do now, objectives, Emerging to Excelling statements, timed and differentiated activities with a plenary, an executive function focus, a literacy task, an extension, and links to the Lessonsmith resources for each part.
๐ Schemes of work come with the whole-school licence and paid teacher plans, for every subject, including GCSE Computer Science. School licence ยท Upgrade in the builder
