π Staff training studio
Bite-sized, lively CPD on techniques drawn from a wide range of trusted sources, such as EEF research, Rosenshine, cognitive science, Dylan Wiliam's formative assessment and Doug Lemov's Teach Like a Champion, plus safeguarding and KCSIE, SEND (codes, pupil profiles and EHC plans) and leading people (meetings, mentoring and difficult conversations). Short, sweet and meaningful: every session changes something for pupils, never a tick-box exercise. Each session has a hook, the big idea, why it works, The 5 Moves to try tomorrow, a hands-on activity and a one-week challenge, ready to present with notes.

π§ͺ AI Labs for pupils Off
AI Labs lets KS3 pupils train their own machine learning model in a lesson. It's included free with your licence, with 90 pupil licences (pupils using it at the same time). Pupils join with a class code and a random nickname: no pupil accounts, names or emails. Their pictures and sentences stay on their device, and nicknames and progress are deleted when each session ends.
AI Labs is off until you switch it on. While it's off, no one at your school can run it, pupils can't join, and the AI Labs terms and safeguarding responsibilities in our Data Processing Agreement (Schedule 4) don't apply to your school. The rest of Lessonsmith stays for staff aged 18 or over only.
To switch it on, please confirm that your school:
Choose which staff can run AI Labs, for example your computing teachers, using the AI Labs tick next to each name in Staff and licences. School admins can always run it.
